I've mostly finished off the things I started at Open Studios - and I've now photographed them and added them to the website. Realised I didn't mention in my posts about the Birmingham Guild competition that I came second with my jewellery quarter belt. Hel won with a lovely pied of weaving, and Gemma came third with something based on the number of carats in gold. The last few days I've been trying to sort things out. Finished the shawl from Open Studios (I seem to be keen on red/gold and dark blue/green at the moment) and also finished a batch of hair clips. I realised I gave the granddaughters a lot of clips for Christmas, and hadn't replaced them. I finished off the tapestry from the Guild workshop in April - an interesting experimentation of copying a micrograph, and trying out various different tapestry techniques. Still have my latest hanging to photograph - I'm not happy with it at the moment, but it is on exhibition in Nuneaton
