These jumpers were produced between 1978 when I first heard of Kaffe Fassett and 1986 or so when I started my City & Guilds in textiles. They are all in 4-ply weight Shetland wool. In general I had a pattern for the shape, and an idea for the sequence of colours. Complicated shapes were graphed, but most of the picture was knitted "freehand".
